Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers modern and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a bay window for a relaxing stay. The hostess pays great attention to setting up a delightful breakfast spread. However, the ground floor room being left unlocked all day is a security concern.
The hotel is a lovely mix of modern furnishings with historic details, offering beautiful, spacious, plush-feeling rooms that are nicely decorated and comfortable. However, the 1970's heating unit was challenging to regulate and noisy. The motel-level Queen beds were of mediocre quality and the rooms lacked extra space for sitting or moving luggage around.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The 1970's heating unit in the rooms was a bit noisy and challenging to adjust, but overall, the room was comfortable and conveniently located near the pool. The service was exceptional with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The location was perfect in downtown Anniston, just a short distance from the trailhead, despite getting a bit busier at night. The dining experience was varied, with some exceptional meals but some inconsistency as well.
